Didsbury House Hotel Winter Wedding Previews |Sally & Rob
A New Years Eve Wedding At Didsbury House Hotel

I joined Sally, Rob and their family and friends for their beautiful, laid back wedding, on a gloriously sunny (but cold) New Years Eve! I first met Sally & Rob at The Urban Wedding Fayre last October. They’ed recently got engaged and were looking for someone with a fun, informal approach to photograph a few hours of their wedding at Didsbury House Hotel, a great location for a cosy winter wedding!
The whole day took place at the hotel with lots of guests making the most of it and staying over, which meant the hotel was already busy when I arrived. Sally and her bridesmaids got ready together in one of Didsbury House’s cosy hotel rooms and their look had a pretty festive feel, with the bridesmaids in gold dresses and Sally in a two piece Charlie Brear gown with a gold specked overskirt. They all looked amazing!
Their ceremony took place in the boardroom which had been beautifully decorated with flowers arranged by Sally’s mum. It was short but sweet, and filled with joy, with some lovely words being said by their registrar. After the ceremony everyone headed into another room to start the celebrations with a few glasses of bubbly while I took Sally and Rob outside for a few portraits in the last of the golden December light.
What a lovely way to end my year/deckade (and a great way for them to start theirs)!
