Hello!

I have a confession to make…..

I don’t care about wedding trends!

What I do care about is people showing up unapologetically as themselves and having the wedding day that they want. I care about creating images that make people feel seen and cherished regardless of race, religion, body type, disability, sexuality or gender identity. And I care about making sure people feel comfortable with me while I do it. The wedding industry can be a bit shit, but I can promise I won’t be.

If you want someone who’s gonna direct the day and treat your wedding like a styled shoot, then I’m not for you! But if what you’re after is someone who will celebrate your love, laugh and cry with you, and take vibrant photos that tell the story of your day,  then let’s get to know each other.

Get To Know Me

– My name’s Ahmani, but literally everyone I know (including my parents) calls me Marni or some other nickname (some of them are a bit odd, maybe if I meet you, I’ll tell you a few).

– I’m actually a Londoner. I was born and raised in Camden Town, but I currently live in Manchester in a little house in Urmston with my lovely flatmate.

– I studied photography at uni, where I spent three years in the darkroom becoming increasingly paler! It also pushed me creatively, and I doubt I would have been passionate enough about photography to turn it into a profession if I hadn’t gone.

– I’m slightly obsessed with the Barbican Centre, particularly the conservatory; it’s like an awesome urban jungle, and I’m a massive plant lover. If you haven’t been yet, go!

– When I’m not working, you can find me watching a film at my local indie cinema, getting into a new sci-fi/fantasy book series, listening to comical podcasts (Scam Goddess and Normal Gossip are my faves) or getting crafty with my friends. We even started a community-led, feminist craft club that we called Craft Punk.

“Marni, these are brilliant!

Thank you so so much, you captured the day and night perfectly. We’re so glad to have had you there with us!”
