And over 10 years, I’ve honed a wedding photography style that, if I may say so myself, is the perfect way to capture it: no cheesy poses, fake smiles, or stuffy group shots for hours on end. I’m all about authentic emotion: the stolen kisses, belly laughs, the tears of joy, the kids being kids, and everything in between.
Laidback wedding photography for couples doing things their own way
Having a stranger at your wedding isn’t anyone’s idea of fun, which is why I get to know all of my couples really well before the day (not in a forced-friendship kind of way, but more in a “here if you ever need a recommendation for a florist or a mid-afternoon activity or the best 90s RNB song to shake your booty to” kind of way).
On the day itself, I’ll seamlessly capture all the moments that’ll become your best memories. My documentary-style photography approach means I shoot unobtrusively without disturbing the flow of the day, instead documenting it as it unfurls. Group photos and couples portraits aren’t mandatory, but if they’re important to you, I love doing them in a fun, flowing, and fairly quick way, so that you get some gorgeous, relaxed shots without missing hours of your own party.

I offer a full day’s coverage, from prep to party. I love a dancefloor, so rest assured I won’t dash off before the final bars of your first dance song have played out; I’ll be sticking around to capture your loved ones having the time of their lives out there.

Fill out my contact form, and if I’m available, I’ll send over my pricing brochure. Then we can meet over Zoom and get to know each other a little. I can’t reserve the date until I’ve received the 20% reservation fee and a signed contract (which can all be done online). I’m not a meanie though, if you’re super keen but not quite ready to book I’ll make a note of your date and let you know if anyone else enquires, so you can have first dibs.
FAQ’s
Is there a cap on how many images we'll recieve?
Nope! On average, you can expect to receive around 50 edited images per hour of coverage. They’ll all be delivered via a password-protected online gallery that will remain online for 18 months. You’ll be able to download and print straight from the gallery and you can easily share with all your friends and family.
Do you do group photos?
Yep, but I like to keep it short and sweet. I always ask for a list of around 5 -10 because I’d rather be taking natural photos of you and your loved ones, and you’d rather be making memories. Plus, you can grab me at any time for an informal photograph with a friend or family member.
We're super awkward in front of the camera, can you help us?
Don’t worry, I keep my couples portrait sessions short and sweet and make sure they’re all about the two of you connecting. I’ll get you relaxed, we’ll play a few games, crack a few jokes and before you know it, you’ll be heading back to your guests. Weddings can be super busy, so lots of couples end up really enjoying having that time to themselves.
My cousin/bestie/uncle is a budding photographer, can they take pics too?
Of course they can! However, I’m not responsible for missing shots if over-enthusiastic uncles with Ipads get in the way. I recommend having an unplugged ceremony, which just means that everyone puts their phones/cameras/iPads away during the ceremony, they can focus on you, and I can focus on getting beautiful photos of everyone.
Are you a magnificent Photoshop wizard that can make me taller/shorter/ thinner/more muscular/give me voluminous hair and perfect skin?
You don’t need photoshop, you are perfect as you are. Nuff said!

How long have you been a photographer?
I photographed my first wedding in 2016, and I think I’ve now photographed 200+ weddings, but I’ve never stopped to count!
Are you insured and who owns the image copywright?
Yep, I am fully insured (I have both public liability and professional indemnity insurance) and I wouldn’t dream of shooting without it!
The copyright remains with me, but the final images are yours to share with friends and family, plaster all over social media and print to your heart’s content. You can’t sell the images or have them published without my permission.
