Fun Hackney Town Hall Wedding Photography | Amy & Marc
Amy & Marc’s plans of keeping their civil ceremony low key and saving the celebrations for their big wedding the following week were quickly dismissed by their friends and family who wanted to be part of it all. Resulting in an intimate, laid back ‘mini’ wedding with a lot of love and laughter.
They started their morning in their lovely Hackney flat, bustling with friends and family, blowing up balloons and hanging decorations, while Marc had a quick haircut and Amy did her hair and make-up. Friends and family headed to Hackney Town Hall early with Marc, allowing Amy to finish getting ready in peace and quiet. She looked gorgeous in a Needle & Thread dress that she’d been saving for a special occasion.
The input from family and friends didn’t stop at decorating! Amy entered the ceremony to beautiful music being performed by friends and there was even a reading by one of her nephews! After the intimate ceremony, their family and friends went ahead to start the barbecue while we took a slow stroll through London Fields to capture some beautiful creative wedding portraits. Heading back to their flat for barbecue, bubbles, yummy cake (made by Amy’s mum) and an impromptu first dance!
Thanks to the lovely Megan Elle for second shooting
